D’ GOOD CAFE @ HOLLAND VILLAGE
As weird as it is for a Singaporean, i actually never been to Holland Village before and i really felt like a tourist there, carrying a DSLR around. Me and my cousin. Benjamin, was bored so we found out about the Cafes in Singapore (i have never been to this type of Cafes before as well!). I saw many friends posting photos of food from the cafes they went to and the food always look so so DAMN good so it's finally it is my turn.
And firstly, we explored Holland Village first and nearly got lost at the beginning as well but still we manage to SURVIVE! So we walked around and the one that caught my eye first was.... Rubbish bin alley! It really look so appealing to me actually cause i only seen alleys in videos or films, i think i am weird.
Okay so the cafe that caught my eye was D' Good Cafe because of.. no reason actually haha. But apparently when my cousin googled about the best cafes in Holland Village, D'Cafe was one of them. So we decided to give it a try.
FIRST IMPRESSION:
The first time we went in, we were quite lost with what are we suppose to do actually cause this was our first time. (etc. should we wait at our tables or order first.) Other than that, the place has a very different feeling from where i usually eat outside as it has a very unique casual, decorative, vintage feeling that it gives you.
Staircase art!
We had to sit outside at the roof in the burning hot day because it was quite crowded even on a weekday but on the bright side, i was able to take better pictures!!
FOOD AND DRINKS:
i could say the prices are a little above average but i think that it is worth it because of the presentation and taste of the food. Though we didn't order much, i could tell that they really do serve quality food in both taste and presentation.

A great cup of Matcha for the day. Their "Matcha" art was a little surprising and cute when i first saw it. This really set the standard for the presentation part as they drew really well.
The pasta i ate was the "Carbonara" which is my childhood favourite, it tasted as wonderful as it looks although it wasn't really perfect because i felt that it was very dry and hard to swallow at times without a drink though. I still feel that there are many pasta shops (even a coffee-shop) could actually be better than this.
Chicken Alfredo!
Carbonara!
We finally found a sit inside and the air-con never felt so good before.
CONCLUSION:
I personally really like the cafe as it is able to fit all kinds of events or occasions, from a birthday party or just a simple hangout or study spot. There are many many choices of foods and drinks to choose from to keep you coming back as well. i really like that there are a number of great spots to take photos at in this cafe as well and it is a plus plus point especially for a person that loves taking photographs.
I am sure to go back there one day after i am done visiting other cafes so i will be able to tell the difference. So experience it yourself if you haven't.
